It may seem a bit childish, but I still want to say something to you. I hope this letter will be a source of strength.

I have no idea what or where you’ll be. Perhaps you are still a student studying in college or an ordinary clerk at a big company. Or maybe you have already made a big name for yourself. There are too many possibilities in the future, but whatever and wherever you are, I believe it’s the best choice.

I’m working hard to make you better. You’re going to make friends with people I’ve never met. You’re going to enjoy the scenery of places I’ve never been. You’re going to achieve things that I could never imagine. However, I still want you to be kind and warm-hearted. There may be some misery and injustice, but please believe that there is always more light than darkness.

Ten years ago, I was just a little girl who knew nothing. You see, 10 years really changes a lot. My 10 years older self, please surprise me!
