Taking the Metro is an integral part of the day for most commuters in a metropolis like Shenzhen, but most seldom or rarely have a chance to learn about a Metro driver’s job. On Wednesday, the Shenzhen Daily’s photographer followed the steps of Huo Lili, a post-1995-generation Metro driver who works on Line 11 of Shenzhen Metro, and her colleagues, recording their daily routine and giving readers a glimpse of Metro drivers at work. It has been one year since Huo became a Metro driver. Huo said she feels a strong sense of responsibility for the safety of passengers and will try her best to serve them well. |
