Contemporary art

Chinese artists Wang Changcun, Zhu Changquan and Cheng Xinhao are holding their solo exhibitions, featuring contemporary sound art and video art. Entry is free.

Shenzhen Museum

Relics from the tomb of Marquis of Haihun (Haihunhou) in Jiangxi Province are on display until July 28. Liu He (92-59 B.C.) was given the title Marquis of Haihun after he was deposed as emperor after only 27 days. More than 70 animal skeletons and skulls from Beijing Museum of Natural History are also on display until Sept. 1. Entry is free.

‘Values of Design’

The “Values of Design” exhibition draws from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s extensive collection in London.

Pablo Picasso’s artworks

Residents in Shenzhen will have the opportunity to take a close look at the original works of Pablo Picasso, one of the most dominant and influential artists in the 20th century.

‘A Light Chaser’

“A Light Chaser: The Marvelous Exhibition of Vincent van Gogh” re-creates many immersive scenes from Van Gogh’s paintings.

Ron English’s works

“English Translations — Ron English New Artwork Exhibition” features oil paintings, sculptures, toys and print releases created by Ron English.
