
Shenzhen pianist Pan Linzi will present Beethoven’s “Sonata in A-flat Major, Op. 110,” Rachmaninoff’s “Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42,” Ravel’s “Scarbo” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.” Born in 1994, Pan is studying with Robert McDonald at The Juilliard School after studying with Gary Graffman at the Curtis Institute of Music and Dan Zhaoyi at Shenzhen Art School. She won the Gold Award at Chopin Piano Competition in Japan (2005), the Third Prize at Isidor Bajic International Piano Competition in Serbia (2006) and the First Prize at Grieg International Piano Competition in Norway (2007).
