Wang Chen, vice chairman of both the China Photographers Association and the Shenzhen Photographers Association, spent years recording the scenery in countries along the Belt and Road, ranging from the prosperity of society to the solitude of nature.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) proposes to develop the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road with the intention of promoting economic cooperation among countries along the proposed routes.
