Summer getaway at Kare Resort
    2019-08-23  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE brand new Kaisa Kare Resort Hotel in Dongao Island is about to open Saturday.

As the first resort hotel owned by Shenzhen Oceanus Group, the hotel is designed to offer a relaxing Nordic holiday experience to guests.

Located on Gongao Island in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, the hotel is built on a hillside slope and enjoys a picturesque view of the sea. Its Nordic-style villas provide 71 rooms and suites with elegant and thoughtful equipment and facilities that will meet the various needs of the guests.

The hotel’s restaurant featuring seafood will ensure the diners a pleasant enjoyment of the authentic local dishes.

Guests can also have a wonderful night at the bar and share in happy hours with friends and family at the outdoor barbecue section.

While having a good time at the hotel, guests can explore the island by foot and board the yachts to tour around.

To bring convenience to the guests and tourists, Oceanus Group has opened a direct sea route from Shekou to Dongao Island. Currently, there are six ferries between Shekou and Dongao Island.

There are two round trips from Shekou Cruise Center to the island. Visitors can choose to set off either at 11:10 a.m. or 2:20 p.m., or they can set off from the island at 12:35 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.

The single ferry takes 65 to 80 minutes and the ticket costs 160 yuan (US$23) per head and can be purchased through the “鹏星会” (ID: pengxinghui-HY), “招商蛇口邮轮母港” (ID: cmhk-xl) or “香洲港” (ID: zhxzg0756) WeChat accounts or at the cruise center.
