CRACKDOWN ON TAX FRAUD
    2019-08-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Shenzhen police officers display gold bars, part of 60 million yuan (US$8.8 million) worth of seizures in a crackdown on fake invoices used in the sales of gold, Tuesday. Police have nabbed 33 suspects in the case, which involved 11 Shenzhen companies and 24.5 billion yuan worth of fake invoices. Shenzhen police have intensified the fight against gangs creating and trading fake invoices, and crackdown on businesses buying them to evade taxes since last August. In the past year, they have busted bogus invoice cases involving a total of 100 billion yuan.Xinhua
