Students can experience both AI technology and intangible cultural heritage at a new education center in Longgang District.

On August 26, the Guangdong Youth Science and Technology Kaicheng Experiential Education Center was opened at the Gardebor Plaza.

It offers AI and technology programs such as VR, AR, 3-D printing, robot programming, drone assembly and remote-controlled robots, as well as traditional culture programs including eco-friendly paper-making, movable type-printing, shadow play, Sichuan opera face-changing, woodblock-engraving and sugar-painting.

The center, which covers an area of 12,000 square meters and can accommodate 3,000 students, is currently the largest experiential education center in Shenzhen.
