I like the movie “Star Wars.” I believe our future is among the stars, so my ideal university does not exist yet. In my dream I call it “The Empire University of the Universe.”

This school should be open to everyone, but to enter this university, one has to be smart enough to build his own spaceship to fly to school, so one has to be a spaceship builder as well as a pilot. The subjects we learn here are mostly about further space exploration: How to unify the universal beings, how to get along with aliens, etc.

In this university, there are students from different planets. Students have to study a common language to communicate with each other. This language is called Chinglish and is a combination of the earthling languages Chinese and English.

University life might be uncomfortable as no hard things are allowed in the campus. Everything is made of water. As a result, all students are either transparent or without bones. Our earthling students may find this difficult, but who knows.

Not having bones does not seem like a bad idea, except one may find himself wobbling around every day. But traveling becomes easier; one can pack himself up into any size or shape to fit in any shape of spaceship vehicles.

I guess the sports at school will be really cool and fun. Since the only building materials should come from water and should not be solid, then half-liquid and half-solid water would be the only building bricks.

Let’s just call this material water-ice. Thinking about those wobbly bodies wobbling around on the water-ice playground is hilarious.

This is my ideal university. It’s in the future and it does not exist yet.
