肯尼·基将与坎耶·维斯特合作 Get ready for Kanye West’s music to get a shot of Kenny G. The saxophonist* and the rapper are collaborating on new music, the adult contemporary favorite told the Dallas Observer in a new interview. Their project came out of their meeting earlier this year, when West recruited him to play music for his wife, Kim Kardashian, at their home on Valentine’s Day. “[West] reached out to me and wanted me to come and do that,” the “Forever in Love” artist said. “I didn’t know him real well, but I was obviously flattered*. He could not have been more welcoming. Since then we’ve actually been in the studio working on some music together. I can’t really say much else because he doesn’t really want anyone to talk about music before he releases it. Just suffice to say that we’re collaborating on some things, and nobody knows what’s going to happen.” Yahoo Entertainment has reached out to West for comment. Both stars have worked with numerous artists from different genres, so their teaming up shouldn’t be too surprising. Kenny G’s past musical partners include Smokey Robinson, Robin Thicke and Stevie Nicks, while West has collaborated with the likes of John Mayer, John Legend and Paul McCartney. (SD-Agencies) |
