Alumni give trees for Teacher’s Day
    2019-09-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

龙岗职校建成“校友林”庆祝教师节

School management, teachers, students and alumni of Longgang Vocational and Technical School attended a tree-planting ceremony at the school’s newly built “alumni’s woodland” on September 10.

To celebrate the 35th Teacher’s Day, the school initiated an activity that encourages alumni to gift saplings to the campus. The new program has won great support from alumni.

The saplings, symbolizing students’ growth and the alumni’s attachment to the school, will grow into a lush woodland, said Peng Xiaopeng, the school headmaster.

For over 20 years, the school has cultivated talents in various fields, including Deng Xiang, a first-prize winner of the national vocational students skills competition and Yuan Jiali, who was listed in the People’s Daily’s top 100 vocational school graduates. (Lin Lin)
