Selena Lee considers returning to ‘Golden Building’ Season 2
    2019-10-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE popular Hong Kong supernatural horror TV series “Golden Building” produced by TVB aired its final episode recently, and many fans are sad to see the series go, including their favorite leads.

Starring Selena Lee and Joel Chan, “Golden Building,” also known as “Barrack O’Karma,” is a story about karma, destiny and fate. It centers on the characters living in a mysterious mansion in Hong Kong where current and past souls intermingle. It scored 8.5 out of 10 on Chinese film and TV review website Douban.

With both stars busy with other projects, reuniting for a second season will be difficult. But Lee and Chan have already set out their terms for returning, and now it just takes TVB to honor it. Expressing her interest in returning, Lee said: “As I’ve already signed with a different agency, I have other jobs I’m obligated to do. If Season 2 does come, we would have to discuss our collaboration. I hope that the original cast and crew will also return. I have confidence in the producer and writers.”

Producer Yip Chun-fai and writer Ruby Law also expressed an interest in writing the sequel. “TVB has mentioned the idea to us, but we would need to write a completely new story,” said Yip. “We haven’t thought about what that new story would be. The story of the first season is over. There will be no continuation of that, but there is more room for new stories.”
