Security screening

PASSENGERS taking trains from Shenzhen to Wuhan are required to undergo a second security screening at train stations and are advised to arrive at the stations more than one hour in advance until Sunday.

During the period, passengers departing from gates A8 to A13 and B8 to B13 at Shenzhen North Railway Station will undergo a second security screening after passing through the ID verification and the first security check.

Technical error

A RESIDENT surnamed Shi recently received a text message from the transportation authority that said he had won the lottery for new vehicle registration. However, Shi was later informed that the message was a technical error.

According to the authority, the text message was sent by mistake due to incorrect operations during testing of the lottery system.

Bus terminal relocation

THE Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint bus terminal officially stopped service yesterday due to the construction of Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint Station of Metro Line 13.

The new bus terminal is located east of Keyuan Road and west of Inner Ring Road Tunnel. It covers an area of about 13,500 square meters, with 80 parking spaces, three arrival spaces and six departure spaces.
