Fang Meiqi, Class 1, Junior 2, Shenzhen Xin’an Middle School Instructed by Chen Linlin, Tang Ying It’s essential for us to keep a good relationship with our parents. However, because of the difference in age, perspectives and so on, children and parents often think differently. Therefore, we need to understand about each other and learn how to get along with our parents. In my opinion, my parents have set too many rules for me. For example, I’m not allowed to play with my mobile phone for a long time. What’s worse, I can’t go out with my friends on weekends unless I finish my homework. I always think that they pay more attention to school academic scores than to my feelings. Although I know what they have done is to make my future is brighter, sometimes I still feel unhappy about these constraints. However, I have always tried my best to keep a good relationship with my parents. The following are my methods. First of all, do something to make them believe in you. For example, study as hard as you can and make progress in your subjects. Secondly, listen to them patiently to show that you respect them. When you encounter some problems, don’t hide them; instead tell them, then your parents will feel your trust in them. What’s more, you can help them do the housework. For instance, when I see my parents busy with housework, I give them a hand, like cleaning and tidying our flat and washing bowls after a meal. Moreover, I often give them a glass of water and ask them to have a rest. As a result, my parents are very happy because they can see my love for them and believe I am a considerate child. I know what I have done is not only for them, but also for myself. In conclusion, every parent loves their children. They would rather give everything to us. No matter what happens, they are our parents and they are working hard for our futures. We should maintain a good relationship. I really feel so grateful to my parents and I hope that our relationship will improve. |
