Some thoughts about a short visit to Pubei

Your small actions can make a big difference in someone else’s life.

A two-day trip to Pubei in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region not only helped me gain a special experience but also gave me a chance for real self-reflection. Most of the time we complain about suffering too much in life, including having too much pressure and too little freedom.

But when we see poor families, we truly understand the hardship and helplessness in life. Apart from this, they showed us great optimism and gratitude for our visit.

Students in Pubei gave us an opportunity to see that there is a group of hardworking and diligent students in the world, and we also let them know that there are many individuals who live a happy life outside of Pubei. We chatted happily together.

A girl as tall as me told me that she desperately wanted to see the sea, and she wanted to go to a university near the seaside. I said:“Ah, admitted to a good university is worth everything. The heart has an unswerving goal, no matter when it will be achieved.”

Cherish what we have and be grateful for the people and things around us. One step at a time, the future can be expected.
