BAO’AN Industry Development Expo 2019 (B-Expo 2019) and Shenzhen International Electronic Equipment Industry Expo 2019 (EeIE 2019), two fairs held simultaneously at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District, concluded Wednesday. A total of 400 enterprises in Bao’an District and 381 well-known enterprises from home and abroad in intelligent equipment manufacturing attended EeIE, while B-Expo showcased its modern industry system guided by strategic, newly emerged industries, headed by the electronic information industry, supported by the equipment manufacturing and traditional advantageous industries and complemented by the high-end service industry. EeIE covers seven fields including robotics, automation, system integration and core components, SMT and ancillary equipment, laser, industrial Internet and AI. At two business promotions during B-Expo, deals for a total of 54 projects involving 47.67 billion yuan (US$6.79 billion) were signed. Among them, four projects will be invested in by Fortune 500 enterprises and enterprises directly controlled by the Central Government. Eighty percent of the projects are related to advanced manufacturing. The three-day event ended with more than 100 activities, such as industry matching, new product launching, culture displays, talent exchanges and interactive experiences. At the Bao’an Bay Area-Bao’an High-quality Development Summit Forum 2019, scholars, experts and entrepreneurs from home and abroad shared ideas for Bao’an’s development. At the 2019 Global Robotics Industry Summit, experts gave insights on the future development of robotics and 5G in speeches, dialogues and product road shows. Forty enterprises from Bao’an were awarded in the categories of most eye-catching products, most pioneering enterprises, most innovative enterprises and top 10 brand enterprises at B-Expo.
