Expos attract foreign exhibitors, professional visitors
    2019-11-08  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

ON the first day of Brennan’s arrival in China, he took a tour around Huaqiangbei, tasted Cantonese roast goose and spent three hours in B-Expo and EeIE.

Brennan is one of the foreigners visiting the two expos, which he said enabled him to have direct contact with enterprises that produce equipment and parts, according to the Bao’an Daily.

Brennan is the co-founder of a robot and artificial intelligence enterprise in the catering industry in California, the United States. B-Expo was his main destination on his first visit to China.

His company had previously purchased robot-related products from a Bao’an enterprise. “This time, I want to visit the production line of the manufacturer to see if there is any opportunity for further cooperation. I also want to take advantage of this exhibition to find parts suppliers,” Brennan told the Daily.

This year, B-Expo attracted 250 government agencies, industry organizations and representatives of important international enterprises from 27 countries and regions, including Russia, Germany, the U.S. and France.

According to Elijah, a visitor from Russia, the new exhibition and convention center in Bao’an is much bigger than the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in the city center. “It’s a long way to go from one exhibition hall to another,” Elijah told the Daily.

Elijah, a manufacturing buyer, has been visiting Shenzhen for four years. He said that compared with direct procurement of products, Russian enterprises are more inclined to find partners who can provide integrated solutions.

“After receiving the production demand of Russian enterprises, we will look for cooperative enterprises, and then send their production scenes, such as the video of the production line of the enterprises, to Russian enterprises,” Elijah said.

In the past four years, Elijah has visited many factories and felt that the most obvious change is the increasing automation of the production lines of Chinese enterprises.

Pasi is an exhibitor from Finland whose company focuses on improving concrete production efficiency and reducing pollution through artificial intelligence technology.

In addition to promoting his own products, Pasi was selecting a site for the company’s China branch, and Shenzhen is on his list of options. “Shenzhen is a modern city where I can learn about the latest technology application achievements.”
