‘Symbiosis’

The “Symbiosis: The Intertextuality of Art and Poetry” exhibition, featuring contemporary artworks and poems created by 28 Chinese poets and artists, is being held at OCAT Shenzhen. Entry is free.

‘Sentient Beings’

“Sentient Beings — An Immersive Exhibition Retelling of Oriental Aesthetics” translates ancient wisdom into modern expressions by new media, creating an immersive journey in which people can meet sentient beings through sensory experience.

Ars Electronica

The “40 Years of Humanizing Technology — Art, Technology, Society” exhibition invites visitors on a spectacular journey to the future and deeply delves into a disruptive revolution that has been affecting humans all around the world. The 30 exhibited items, most of which are Prix Ars Electronica award winners, were created between 2011 and 2019.

Dates: Until Feb. 16, 2020

Tickets: 98-118 yuan

‘Re-Cyclages’

French photographer Alain Fouray is exhibiting his recycling-themed photos at “Re-Cyclages,” an artistic exhibition of educational photographs which presents eight courses of recycling. Entry is free.

Female artists’ paintings

An exhibition examining the life and paintings of Chinese artist and revolutionist He Xiangning (1878-1972) is being held until Feb. 16, 2020, offering an in-depth review of her revolutionary and artistic career. Meanwhile Chinese-American Yu Lanyin and Beijinger Lin Jiangdong are also exhibiting their ocean-themed paintings at the “Ocean! Ocean!” exhibition until Nov. 24. Entry is free.
