SINGLES’ DAY SHOPPING SPREE SEES ROBUST SALES
    2019-11-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A man carries a package onto a bullet train in Harbin, capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, yesterday. Several carriages of two bullet trains running between Harbin and Dalian, a city in Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, were reserved only for cargo as online orders surged sharply yesterday, China’s annual Singles’ Day  online shopping blitz. Sales on Alibaba’s e-commerce platform TMall hit 10 billion yuan (about US$1.43 billion) in just one minute and 36 seconds after 12 a.m. yesterday.
