Halle Berry injured on set of ‘Bruised’
    2019-11-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

哈莉·贝瑞拍打戏意外受伤

Halle Berry was injured while filming a fight scene for “Bruised,” the mixed martial arts film which also marks her directorial debut. Production has been rescheduled while the 53-year-old star recovers, although the injury is not believed to be serious.

Executive producer Brian Pitt tells NJ Advance Media that Berry “got slightly injured in the fight,” adding, “She’s tired. She needed a break.” While he wouldn’t elaborate* on what happened he said it’s “nothing serious.”

“Occasionally what’s going to happen is an actor might get a little injured, and we might adjust scheduling around them a little bit,” noted Pitt.

Berry is no stranger to grueling* roles as she spent five months training for “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.” She told Entertainment Weekly in May she was getting ready for “Bruised.”

“That’s what I’m prepping right now,” she said. “It’s a movie about a woman who once had a promising MMA career, she was going up the ranks of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), and then something unthinkable happened that derailed her career, and we find her five years later, and she has to make her way back. It’s a movie I’m extremely passionate about. It has a wonderful message. I think it’s a message that women need to hear.”
