深圳信息学院29项科技研发成果亮相高交会 Twenty-nine projects launched by teachers and students from the Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (SZIIT) were presented at the 21st China Hi-Tech Fair held from November 13 to 17 at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Covering a wide range of sectors including intelligent biomimetics, civil engineering, electronic information, advanced manufacturing and new materials, these projects caught the eyes of visitors. Some of the projects targeted pain points some industries have long been struggling to address. An example is the project launched by SZIIT teacher Dong Zhijun and his team, which uses non-contact thermographic imaging technology to monitor the security of buildings’ exterior wall layers. Six other projects from SZIIT featuring AR design, intelligent security protection and smart robots were also displayed in the zone. All these projects are the fruits of SZIIT’s emphasis on integrating industries with teaching and putting research achievements to practical use. (Yu Yuanfan) |
