“Maximalism continues to be an important theme for accessories,” says Davignon who notes that a voluminous scarf adds extra warmth and comfort. “A basic knit scarf becomes new in a chunky multi-knit fabrication with long fringe tassels as an added bonus.”

A pair of plush slippers

“Shearling-lined slippers are a go-to season after season for their unmatched cozy factor,” notes Davignon. “The classic mule or moccasin silhouette with cushy soft shearling lining is the way to go. The streamlined construction of these slippers are a welcome update to the traditional style.”

A universally flattering dress

A midi dress is “always in style,” and this holiday season is no exception. Slightly longer silhouettes that hit at mid-calf length elongate the frame, while asymmetric cutouts, ruffles and hemlines create visual interest that feels fresh for the season.
