Social media influencer 网红
    2019-12-03  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: We are stuck in the middle of a marketing campaign and find it hard to reach new customers aged 16 to 25.

B: We had a similar problem last year. Then we hired a few social media influencers and sales just rocketed.

Note: An influencer is an individual who has the power to affect the purchasing decisions of others because of their authority, knowledge, position or relationship with their audience. Such a person is an individual who has a following on social media platforms like YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo and TikTok among others, which they actively engage with. A similar term is KOL, which stands for “key opinion leader.”
