National Holiday thoughts
    2019-12-04  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

瑞得福国际学校 黄栩

During the National Holiday, I realized that people of different ages have obviously different opinions towards this special holiday.

Students from senior high school or lower just consider the holiday a long and relaxing time for them to release pressure and have fun. However, others who are middle-aged or older, except for some workers and laborers, suppose that this holiday is meaningful more than joyful.

Most of them are more concerned about major events of China, especially those who are interested in history, and like Chinese ancient culture. I may think the most essential reason for this different is that their experiences aren’t quite the same. Students just have a superficial view of the holiday, but the people who have experienced more may have a deeper feeling for the country.

As far as I am concerned, I can both enjoy vacation pleasurably and learn about how great China is, or even look toward China’s future. It will be shocking for me, I think. By surfing the Internet and studying books, I have strongly felt how unyielding and strong the Chinese are!

I clearly remember what I saw from a video that became popular during the seven-day holiday, telling about the arduous course of the rise of China.

It amazed me at that moment. Till now, looking on those who contributed their whole life to the Chinese revolution, I still want to appreciate them for bringing us such a bright future.

Whether now or in the future, China has the niubility to speak on the international stage!
