As the Shenzhen Metro network continues to expand, its underground commercial circles linking Metro stations are becoming more prosperous and attractive. At the end of 2019, the city’s underground space that has been developed and put into operation reached 127,000 square meters, and the figure is expected to increase to 477,000 square meters in 2030. Shenzhen Metro now has 14 underground commercial streets that thread stations along Futian CBD, the Grand Theater in Luohu District and areas in Futian, including Huaqiangbei, Chegongmiao and Shangmeilin.
