Career stories shared with school students
    2020-01-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A parent surnamed Dai, who has had a multi-faceted career spanning several jobs, shared her work-related stories with junior high students from Shenzhen Luohu Foreign Languages School at Liantang Subdistrict Community Service Office in Luohu District on January 11.

Dai’s first job was working as a salesperson at a clothing store. Later, she became an inspector and thereafter got accredited to work as an assistant building materials engineer.

Dai stated in her presentation that even an ordinary job such as a salesperson requires hard work to become qualified, which was echoed by other parents presenting at the event. She also shared about obtaining certificates and some niche architectural knowledge with the students.

Thanks to the event, the students gained a better understanding of different job titles, lending insight to their future career plans.
