Fight the virus: We are not alone
    2020-02-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Pakistani doctor Abdul Zahir Hamad (R) helps his wife Hosany Sumayyah, a doctor from Mauritius, put on a protective mask before setting off for their posts at a novel coronavirus prevention-and-control checkpoint at an expressway exit in Wenzhou, East China’s Zhejiang Province, on Saturday. Both doctors at Panhealth Medical Center in Wenzhou and members of a Wenzhou-based international medical volunteer team, the couple signed up for service Feb. 1 after the epidemic outbreak. “We want to be part of it,” they said. Having completed their higher learning and lived in China for a long time, the couple said offering their professional service is their responsibility as doctors as well as their wish.Photos by Xinhua
