Hospital completed

THE emergency hospital in the second phase of the Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital’s COVID-19 plan was completed and will offer 1,000 beds for emergency treatment, according to an announcement by the Shenzhen Public Works Bureau yesterday.

The hospital covers 68,000 square meters and was completed in 20 days. It will offer a rest and office space to more than 100 medical employees.

Spouses punished

SPOUSES driving back from Hubei Province to Shenzhen were administratively punished by Futian District police last week for not reporting their journey.

The couple, Xiang, 30, and his wife, Zhao, 32, returned from Hubei on Jan. 26, but they did not report any information on their travels to a community work station or the relevant online platforms, police said.
