Medics out of quarantine after 14 days

Huang Wendi, a doctor with the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, joins his wife and son Saturday following a 14-day quarantine period after returning from Hubei Province, which was hit hard by the novel coronavirus outbreak. The first batch of 47 medical personnel sent by Shenzhen to assist Hubei Province returned to the city March 20. They included 20 medics from Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. A ceremony was held Saturday to mark the end of the quaratine and before all the 47 medics joined their families and colleagues, a three-minute silent tribute was paid to mourn the lives lost to the coronavirus outbreak.              Qi Jieshuang
