New quarantine rule

STARTING from 8 a.m. today, all arrivals through Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint, the only checkpoint open to inbound travelers for the time being, will be centrally quarantined in Shenzhen for 14 days, according to the latest notice released by the Shenzhen Municipal Office of Port of Entry and Exit.

This replaces the previous policy which allows differentiated quarantine locations based on a traveler’s destination city after entry.

Temperature on Metro

THE metro operator has adopted differentiated temperatures on Metro Line 11. The first and last carriages will be set to 25 degrees Celsius and carriages 2 to 5 will be set to 23 degrees, starting from Sunday.

Line 11 is the second line, following Line 7, to adopt differentiated temperatures. Shenzhen Metro Group will apply this measure on seven lines of its operations within the year. As the seasons change, the company will vary the temperatures within the range of 22-27.25 degrees.
