Route to Huai’an

CHINA Southern Airlines will open a route between Shenzhen and Huai’an in northern Jiangsu Province on Sunday, the company said. The flights will operate four times a week.

Since May 3, the start of the summer and autumn flight season, the airline has added a route from Shenzhen to Jinan and increased flights to Urumqi, Nanchang, Changsha, Zhanjiang, Qingdao, Nanyang, Chongqing and Nanjing.

Service satisfaction

THE public satisfaction of the city’s Metro network in 2019 reached a record-high 88.52 points, results of a poll released by Shenzhen railway office showed.

The key indexes over the service and operation performances of Metro network were all greater than 93 points.

Shenzhen Metro network now handles 5.56 million trips daily on average, accounting for 56.1 percent of public transportation.

Power peak

THE electricity load of the city’s power grid has increased to 15.97 million kilowatts due to work resuming and sustained higher temperatures.

The highest load is expected to reach 20 million kilowatts in July or August, according to the city’s power supply bureau.
