SHENZHEN DAILY last month published a nice picture of cyclists who rode along the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Belt. This is indeed a nice place to go cycling. However much to my surprise, when I wanted to take a ride there about a year ago. I was told that cycling was not allowed during the weekends and public holidays.

Maybe instead of banning cycling they should educate people going there to use the proper paths designated for them as now we see joggers on the cycling paths, pedestrians on the jogger paths and cyclists (weekdays) allover.

It is a gorgeous area and can be enjoyed by all if we simply all stick to the rules and paths intended for the users.
