A public figure is a person who has influence on others within a certain range, has a higher social status and is known by and concerned for many people. For example, leaders, some well-known entrepreneurs, online celebrities, actors, singers and artists can be called public figures.

Public figures have more and more opportunities to speak. Every word they say and everything they do may affect ordinary people. Therefore, public figures should maintain their own public image, have a positive impact on all who pay attention to them and be role models for others.

In this article, we will talk about one group of the public figures: stars. As we all know, the stardom is one of the most desirable careers in today’s society. There are lots of people who love and support them. But since this is a profession on which so many people keep a watchful eye, people who are already involved in this profession have to assume the responsibilities of being a public figure. What they do they should do well, such as making films and TV works for the public, so that people who like them can see that they are trying to become better, and will live up to the fans’ love. They also need to stop some behaviors of fans.

There are a few simple examples. It is nearly impossible for a star to gain everyone’s love. There will always be some who don’t like him or her, and they may come out and say bad things or spread rumors. At this time, fans always come out to defend their idols. But they must do it rationally. Idols should tell fans how to correctly handle or directly ignore some bad comments, rather than saying nothing or encouraging fans to continue to act badly.

All stars should pay attention to their words and deeds because these will be made public. Even a simple word will affect some people’s views about the star, let alone their doing and words.

Finally, no matter what career you have, if you appear in front of the public, you should take responsibility for your words and deeds.
