Insurance relief

THE deadline for the relief of social insurance, including basic pension, unemployment and work injury insurance to small and medium-sized enterprises, will be extended to December this year.

The measure is expected to cut 43.9 billion yuan (US$6.2 billion) in total from insurance costs for companies and enterprises in Shenzhen.

Employee allowance

THE city will be issuing high-temperature allowance until October. The standard is 150 yuan per month for each employee. Companies failing to distribute the allowance will face a maximum fine of 10,000 yuan.

Squatter returns key

A SQUATTER living in an apartment in Bao’an District without receiving permission from the property owner has returned the flat key to the working office at Xin’an Subdistrict on Saturday after moving out of the flat.

Emission standard

SHENZHEN will enforce a National VI emission standard for diesel or gas-powered heavy vehicles starting July 1, sources from the Shenzhen Ecology and Environment Bureau announced.
