Concert

COUNTRY superstar Garth Brooks is holding a concert that will be played at 300 drive-in theaters in June across the United States.

The concert will be created in Nashville, Tennessee, and tickets at each showing will be limited. Tickets will cost US$100 per passenger car or truck.

Apology

SIA has issued an apology after accidentally injecting herself in a feud between fandoms.

After confusing Nicki Minaj for Cardi B on Twitter, fans of the rappers started a tweet-storm reprimanding the singer, causing the hashtag #Siaisoverparty to trend. The mix-up all began when a fan asked Sia if she would ever collaborate with Minaj in a (since-deleted) tweet that included a photo of the Young Money rapper. Sia then replied: “I love @iamcardib,” she wrote. “And although this isn’t a collaboration, I would love to COLLAB with her any day!”

Release date changes

THURSDAY saw a slew of release date changes for Hollywood movies, including the announcement that “Bios,” starring Tom Hanks, is relocating its release from Oct. 2, 2020 to April 16, 2021.

The shift was announced by Universal Pictures hours after Warner Bros. announced it is pushing “Wonder Woman 1984” from Aug. 14 to Oct. 2. Warner Bros.’ untitled “Matrix 4” is pushing back its release by nearly a year from May 21, 2021 to April 1, 2022. Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated blockbuster “Tenet” has been delayed by two weeks to July 31.

Legendary’s sequel “Godzilla vs. Kong” is giving up its seat at the 2020 Thanksgiving box office feast, and will instead hit the big screen on May 21, 2021.
