The positive and negative effects of stress
    2020-06-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Peng Yurang, Class 2, Grade 5, Nanshan Experimental Education Group Dingtai Primary School

Instructed by Candy Wu

People would think that stress is a negative word, but in some ways, this kind of feeling can make our life better, or worse.

To begin with, an example of the way stress is both positive and negative is when studying before an exam. Stress helps students concentrate on what they are doing, but it also makes them feel nervous. They may get not confident, and could get a bad result. Thinking on the other side is another answer, that stress presses students to finish their work early, so they can get a good night’s sleep, so it could also produce good results.

An example of the way stress can make you feel bad in a good environment, is how it can make you feel depressed. Feeling depressed is bad for your mind; even if you live in a nice place, it may make you think it’s a bad place. Such people would find themselves a quiet place to rest and relax, and to think about why they are so depressed.

Don’t worry if you feel stressed; just relax, and try to forget about it. You can also get rid of the harsh condition by going outside and jogging for five kilometers.
