Ukiyo-e

Delicately hued and intricate Japanese ukiyo-e prints are on display until Aug. 9. Visitors are required to book their visit in advance on the museum’s WeChat “nanshanmuseum.”

‘Heavenly Bodies’

Paintings and sculptures created by Chinese artist Qin Qi and Philippine artist Rodel Tapaya are on display until July 5 at the “Heavenly Bodies in the South” exhibition. Visitors are required to book their visit on WeChat “hxnartmuseum.”

‘On the Myth of Babel’

The “On the Myth of Babel” exhibition, running until June 30, showcases contemporary artworks from nine artists and designers, covering a variety of forms and languages ranging from oil paintings, sculptures, prints, photos and installations. Entry is free.

‘Art-Toy’

Groundwork, an architecture studio based in Hong Kong, has built a soft space “Art-Toy” for visitors at all ages to play in until late August. In this place of art and architecture, visitors can bounce, slide and prank each other.

Hours: 1:30-7:30 p.m. (Wednesdays and Fridays), 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays)

Tickets: 36-90 yuan

‘Cosmos’

The “Cosmos” exhibition re-creates interactive scenes based on concepts or hidden physical laws found by scientists like Albert Einstein, Felix Klein, David Hilbert, Hendrik Lorentz, Erwin Schrodinger and Stephen Hawking.

Tickets: 88 yuan
