Two entertainment facilities in Novotown, an integrated entertainment mall located in Zhuhai’s Hengqin New Area, were recently designated as the area’s education bases for inquiry-based learning.

The two facilities are Lionsgate Entertainment World and Hengqin National Geographic Ultimate Explorer; both are highlighted entertainment facilities of the mall.

First opened on July 31, 2019, Lionsgate Entertainment World is the first international film-themed park in Guangdong Province. The park offers around 30 immersive experiences that are based on six acclaimed Lionsgate movies including “The Hunger Games,” ”The Twilight Saga,” “Now You See Me,”“Escape Plan,” “Gods of Egypt” and “Divergent,” and will without a doubt provide visitors an extraordinary world of fantasy.

Covering an area of 4,500 square meters, Hengqin National Geographic Ultimate Explorer is the first indoor high-tech entertainment facility in southern China targeting families with children. The 15 interactive experiences the center offers perfectly combine new technologies including VR, AR and 4-D with meticulously crafted story plots to encourage children and adolescents to explore the world and the unknown, thereby inspiring them to become next-generation scientists, engineers, astronauts, thinkers and explorers.
