Wang Haolan Holly_cn@163.com IF you’ve ever been to the Le mur des je t’aime (“I Love You” Wall) in Paris, this year’s Dioramour capsule collection will give you sensations of déjà vu. The collection was released at MixC Luohu on Monday to mark Chinese Valentine’s Day, which falls on Aug. 25 this year. Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s creative director, combines the savoir-faire of the luxury brand and the appeal for love, care and support with Dior’s best recognized style of ready-to-wears, including bags, shoes and accessories. The collection features Valentine-themed motifs in red and white colors such as a graffiti-style heart design made by combining the message “I love you” in different languages along with Dior’s iconic polka dots. Chinese actress Ora Yang, a brand ambassador of Dior, was present at the red carpet session of the event wearing a linen T-shirt with multilingual love messages and a tulle miniskirt while holding a special Lady D-Lite Bag from the Dioramour collection. Young Chinese actor Lin Yi also hit the red carpet wearing a red crew neck sweatshirt and skateboard shoes from the collection. The Dioramour collection is now available at the pop-up boutique store on the first floor of the shopping center. |
