More than 200 jewelry dealers have set up booths at the Shenzhen Curio World during Monday to Friday nights.

‘Cosmos’

The “Cosmos” exhibition (88 yuan), running until Sept. 20, re-creates interactive scenes based on concepts or hidden physical laws found by scientists like Albert Einstein, Felix Klein, David Hilbert, Erwin Schrodinger and Stephen Hawking.

Venue: 1/F, One Avenue, Fuhua Road, Futian District (福田区卓悦中心一楼)

Metro: Line 1 to Gangxia Station (岗厦站), Exit B

Pingshan Art Museum

Contemporary artworks created by British artist John Akomfrah, Singaporean artist Ho Tzu Nyen, U.S. visual artist Rachel Rose and Chinese artists Yang Fudong, Zheng Guogu, Chu Bingchao, Duan Jianyu, Fang Di, Gong Jian and Birdhead are on display at the “Muses, Yugong and Compasses” exhibition until Aug. 30.

Booking: Follow WeChat account “PingshanArtMuseum” and then follow its menu instructions

Venue: Pingshan Art Museum, Huide Road, Pingshan District (坪山区汇德路坪山美术馆)

Transport: Take the high-speed rail from Futian Station or Shenzhen North Station to Pingshan Station and then take a taxi

‘Polyphony’

Paintings by Chinese artist Cui Heling are on display at the “Polyphony” exhibition until Oct. 8. Cui puts characters from the Renaissance Period into Chinese landscape paintings.

Sea World

The “Values of Design: China in the Making” exhibition (68 yuan), running until Dec. 20, showcases 138 Chinese works and explores the growing field of Chinese design.
