Responsibility: Teacher Lin Yan’s faith
    2020-09-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Tomorrow is Teacher’s Day in China. Lin Yan, a Chinese-language teacher at Quanhai Primary School in Shenzhen, came to the city in the 1990s and has been a teacher for over 20 years. In her mind, responsibility always comes first. “I must have a very strong sense of responsibility. So many parents send their children to school. These parents contribute to all aspects of society, willing to be parts of the machine that helps keep society in order. We as teachers are the parts on the educational front, and what we strive for is to educate their children well so they don’t have to worry.”
