Zheng Yunlong shows me to be target-oriented

Some people do everything with clearly defined outcomes as well as clear life goals, and are motivated by their goals to achieve success. Others are based on reality and search for their goals step by step. As for me, being goal-oriented benefits me, that is, to engage in completing relevant tasks to achieve planned objectives brings me efficiency and achievement.

Zheng Yunlong, a very famous musical actor in China, sets a good example for me to be target-oriented. When he was a middle school student, he had made up his mind to be a musical actor.

Graduating from Beijing Dance Academy, he became a musical actor as planned. However, at that time, musicals were not popular among Chinese as few people would prefer the musical to the theater.

As a result, Zheng couldn’t afford his rent in Beijing by his musical performance without taking laborious part-time jobs. Even under this circumstance, he didn’t give up his dream but insisted in performing musicals with a modest salary.

After being famous, many people would feel empty and realize that they have sacrificed many precious things in their life.

However, being famous after participating in a show called “Super Vocal” in 2019, Zheng didn’t forget his original dream to promote Chinese musicals. In order to engage in the research of musical performance, he refused many well-paid invitations to sing popular songs and other jobs to make a fortune.

As a result, owning millions of fans, he always sold out his musical tickets in a second. For 10 years, he only had one aim, which was to let more people in China know musicals. And he achieved that when he was 30!

Successful people do not give up but keep trying new ways to meet their goals. Being goal-oriented, Zheng finally realized his dream and brought lots of excellent musicals to us.
