Woman obsesses with color pink
    2020-09-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A YOUNG Swiss teacher obsessed with the color pink has been wearing nothing but her favorite color for over a decade and has decked out her apartment pink as well.

Yasmin Charlotte has loved the color pink ever since she was a child, but instead of growing out of it, Charlotte only became more obsessed with pink as she grew up. Thirteen years ago she started wearing pink exclusively, and ever since she moved into her own apartment last year, she has created her very own pink paradise.

She used to live with her boyfriend, and had turned half the place pink, but now that she has all the space to herself, she has gone all out. Despite attracting a lot of attention and even some abuse because of her obsession with pink Charlotte says she would never put on any other color, not even for her wedding.

When I was a kid, I would dress in pink like any little girl,” Charlotte told PA Real Life. “Then when I was 12 my mum bought me a pink cardigan and some trousers. I loved them, but I felt embarrassed. I thought pink was for little girls, not nearly teenagers. But at 16, I started to wear more and more pink, and grow my collection. I had blue jeans and a black skirt but everything else was pink.”

The 32-year-old teacher has an entire wardrobe consisting of various shades of pink, as well as a collection of over 100 pairs of pink shoes. Luckily she has had no complaints at her school, and say she would never accept a job that doesn’t allow her to wear pink. Her students reportedly call her “Miss Pink”.

“Before I became a teacher, I did an apprenticeship as a dressmaker so I do make some of my own clothes, but I mostly buy online and in shops,” Charlotte said. “I have never had to wear a uniform for work and I would never chose a job where I couldn’t wear pink.”
