The latest camera from Petcube offers a rather unique feature. That’s virtual vet visits, and with the Petcube Cam, you can have your dog or cat checked out without going to the vet. The virtual vet visit is part of its premium service though. So you will need to subscribe to get this feature. Petcube does offer a free trial “visit” that you can check out and see how it works. It’s also super simple to set up. Under the camera section in the app, there is a link. Click on that and it will open a chat window where you can speak with an expert. It’s not available 24 hours a day though. Besides the virtual vet visits, some of the other features of the Petcube Cam also includes its size. It’s now much smaller than previous Petcube cameras. Part of that is because it is no longer a smart speaker. So you’ll be able to hide the Petcube Cam on a bookshelf, or on a table. Where you can still see your pet while you’re away, but it’s not out in the middle of the room. It also sits in an adjustable stand now, so you can adjust the angle at which it is pointed at. This can be very helpful if you are putting it higher up in the room, or even lower. The Petcube Cam also does 1080p streaming, and also has night vision available. So even if it is dark in your home, you can still see what your furbabies are doing at home. This is a really great camera for pet owners to pick up, and have peace of mind that their pets are not getting into trouble while they are away. The Petcube Cam is available now for just US$50.
