How to enhance pupils’ artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities through intelligent classrooms? How to make it more efficient for college students to learn oral English? How to ensure that teachers can make full use of the “AI Helper” to teach students according to their actual needs? The answers to these questions were offered by iFLYTEK at the third China Educational Equipment and Technology Show which concluded on September 20 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.

iFLYTEK, a well-known intelligent speech and artificial intelligence company in China, brought a range of solutions applicable to the teaching scenarios in primary and secondary schools and universities.

The personal learning manual and the intelligent learning machine developed by iFLYTEK were well received by teachers and educators at the show, as they can help teachers and students teach and learn in accordance with their own needs. Teachers are able to make specific teaching schemes for each student based on the data and analysis of their academic performance, while students can learn on their own with the personal learning manual.

The intelligent learning machine “AI Family Tutor” draws on the AI-powered big data analysis technology to help students find their weaknesses, thus effectively improving their academic performance.

iFLYTEK’s high-tech products have gone beyond the exhibition and have now entered campuses. In June the company and Baomin Primary School jointly established the Application Center for AI Innovation and Education which provides an AI course.

Currently iFLYTEK’s products and solutions related to AI-powered education have been implemented in 1,000 or so schools in over 20 provinces across China.

As for higher learning, iFLYTEK provides “AI + Classrooms,” “AI + Exams” and “AI + Management” products and solutions to more than 900 colleges and universities in 31 provinces and cities.

In December 2015, iFLYTEK signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government to cooperate in the construction of a first-class modern demonstration zone for intelligent education.

So far, iFLYTEK’s intelligent education products and services have been used by more than 150,000 teachers and students from around 500 schools in Shenzhen.

On a national scale, the company has served more than 100 million teachers and students from 35,000 schools.
