    2020-10-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TOTAL of 123 projects in strategic newly emerged industries will receive subsidies from the city government for this year, a list released by the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission showed Saturday.

The projects that passed preliminary examinations, expert reviews and on-site inspections cover new-generation information technologies, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing and bio-pharmacy.

Among them, eight projects will each receive more than 10 million yuan (US$1.4 million) in subsidies.

The research and industrialization project of the data-based marketing system developed by Shenzhen Hexun Huagu Information and Technology Co. Ltd. received a subsidy support of 17.24 million yuan, the highest amount of subsidy for a single project.

Data showed the added value of the seven strategic newly emerged industries in the first half of the year was 449.8 billion yuan.

The seven industries include new-generation information technologies, digital economy, bio-pharmacy, high-end equipment manufacturing, low carbon and new materials.
