Animal skeletons

Animal skeletons and ape man skulls, models and description videos are on display to present the 500-million-year vertebrate evolution until Oct. 17. Visitors are required to book their visit on the museum’s WeChat account “iszbwg.”

Sea World

The “Values of Design: China in the Making” exhibition (68 yuan), running until Dec. 20, showcases 138 Chinese works.

Venue: Sea World Culture and Arts Center, Nanshan District (南山区海上世界文化艺术中心)

Nanshan Museum

A Three Kingdoms-themed exhibition showcases more than 170 pieces of precious cultural relics provided by 36 museums around China. The closing date of the exhibition has not yet been set. Meanwhile, cultural relics from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum are also on display until Nov. 29. Porcelains from Jingdezhen are on display until Nov. 22. Visitors are required to book their visit on the museum’s WeChat “nanshanmuseum.”

Illustration biennial

An exhibition of the seventh China Illustration Biennial (CIB7) is being held until Oct. 25. Entry is free.

Antique nautical charts

Rreproduced antique nautical charts in Europe are on display at the “From Mediterranean to South China Sea” exhibition until Oct. 18, exploring Shenzhen’s geographic role in the global maritime trade history.

Venue: MJH Art Gallery, Kuipeng Road, Dapeng New District (大鹏新区葵鹏路满京华美术馆)

Metro: Line 3 to Cuizhu Station (翠竹站), Exit B2 and then take bus E11 to Kuichong Center Stop (葵冲中心站) and then take bus B956 to MJH Yixiang Stop (满京华艺象站)
