Skyscraper at headquarters base topped off
    2020-10-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Huiyun Center has become the first super high-rise building project of Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base to be officially topped off, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported Friday.

The height of the skyscraper’s main tower is 358.7 meters, with four floors underground and 79 floors above ground.

Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base is one of the most important urban areas in Shenzhen. The base is aimed at becoming a model of a future city that integrates a global headquarters gathering place, a metropolitan cultural hub, an international exchange center and a world-class coastal city center.

It will also become a showcase of the competitiveness and influence of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The project is located at the intersection of Hongshuwan Station of Metro Line 2 and Hongshuwan South Station of Metro lines 9 and 11 on the west side of Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base in Nanshan District.

It involves a total investment of 14.5 billion yuan (US$2.16 billion), covering an area of 54,000 square meters and having a construction area of 470,000 square meters.

Jointly developed by Shenzhen Metro Group and Vanke Enterprise Co. Ltd., the project includes office space, high-end business facilities and some cultural features.

The architectural scheme of the project was designed by AREP Group. Work on the project started in December 2014.
