Heavy snow hits China’s northernmost city
    2020-10-28  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Two women make a snowman in China’s northernmost city of Mohe in Heilongjiang Province yesterday. The city was whitened yesterday by the heaviest snow this season, with the biggest one-day snowfall at 7.9 millimeters. In some areas, the snow was 10 centimeters deep. Nicknamed “China’s Arctic Town,” Mohe has the coldest weather in China. It is the only place in China where people are able to enjoy the atmospheric phenomena of the aurora borealis and the midnight sun.China News Service
