Shenzhen University (SZU)’s history room, located on the first floor of the SZU Archives, officially opened on October 23 after four years of construction.

The room covers an area of 1,279 square meters, featuring three colors, specifically blue, white and lychee red. The room includes 11 areas themed with 11 topics, such as talent cultivation, scientific research, campus culture and international cooperation, to present SZU’s history of achievements since 1983 when the school was established. More than 1,000 photos and precious items are also exhibited in the room to show SZU’s development as the city’s first comprehensive university.

In addition, in the future the university is planning to build a SZU museum.
